TOP 6 TEAMS
Below are the top 6 teams which we will gear towards buying out or part ownership by the year 2010. These teams may change throughout the two years, we all have to think carefully about a budget and what we can achieve with it to get the best results in the future.

Please vote for the team which you would most like to see your drivers race for in the 2010 Grand Prix season.
Super Aguri

# 1

Super Aguri have been out performing their parent company Honda this year, they had a poor first year but now with Sato and Davidson behind the wheel they are beating the rest of the back of the field and making some really amazing results.

Super Aguri is founded by Aguri Suzuki, a former F1 driver from Japan, which was lucky for Takuma Sato who had just been dropped by Honda. Super Aguri gave the job to Sato straight away. The first batch of cars were actually ex Arrows from 2002, which is perhaps why they encountered problems in their first season.

A.R.T.

# 2

A.R.T. are a brilliant group of engineers behind Hamilton's winning gp2 car, they may be worthy of an F1 chance by 2010, and we could be the helping hand to get them there.

ART came about in 2004 off the back of the F3 champions ASM, who have been around since the mid 90's. It could be another very good season for ART in 2008 with Sebastian Buemi behind the wheel, who has excelled him self in the last two years and the trend seems to continue.

Toro Rosso

# 3

Toro Rosso are the second team of Red Bull and use the previous years Red Bull car, they may find themselves in trouble in two years time, unless the world carries on its craving for the loopy juice.

Former F1 legend Gerhard Berger has a 50% stake in the team, and the team came about after buying out the Minardi team from Paul Stoddart in 2005. Liuzzi and Scott Speed were the two main drivers until half way through the 2007 season when Speed was replaced by Vettel. The team are now using Ferrari V8 engines after their first season using the Cosworth V10, the only team to use a V10 in 2006 to the disappointment of all the other teams.

Spyker

# 4

Spyker are the newest kids on the block and have recently merged 50% of the company for financial backing, I think a take over could be on the books in the next few years. Extremely bright orange makes them stand out at the back of the grid.

In their first full season they have done very well, especially with Sutil behind the wheel, he has got them into the points contention on many an occasion and looks set to do so again next season. Who could of course forget Markus Winckelhocks debut race where he led the race within two laps when a freak rain storm took a turn for the worst.

Pro Drive Slot

# 5

Pro Drive are still in talks about a slot for the 2008 season and are rumoured to be taking on this years mclaren car. Given the recent fiasco this may turn into a problem for them within a few years.

Pro Drive have already dabbled in the F1 world by helping out the BAR Honda team and when Honda took back more control they hired Pro Drives managing director Nick Fry. They have also been engineering the Aston Martin DB9R now for four years and won the Le Mans series in 2007 beating off the Corvettes.

Pro Drives most famous achievement was the creation of the Subaru rally Team who went on to gain great success with the late Colin McRae behind the wheel, making the 555 blue and yellow car a thing to place in the history books forever. They helped out Subaru also with the sales of their road going Impreza.

Honda

# 6

Honda are a very long shot for a buy out, but in two years time they could be in real trouble as an F1 team if the performance carries on, we can all but hope !

Honda in 2006 had a great year where they actually tried to compete with the ferrari and managed to get a win with Jenson Button thanks to wet conditions. 2007 was not as successful a year as everyone had hoped, the car was plagued from the start, both cars were struggling to get into the 2nd qualifiers and really only started to make up ground again towards the end of the season.
