African

# 1

A race event in Africa would be so great for the viewing public at home and for the people of africa, would make people more aware of the country and all of its rich cultures. Africa has enjoyed its rally events for many years now with the Paris-Dakar being one of the most watched motor sport events in the world with cars, trucks and motorbikes all getting involved.

The exceptional hot climate could really test the cars to their ability and make the technicians think hard about the best way to cool the engines down, we could see a totally differently shaped car for an African Grand Prix.

Iceland

# 2

Iceland is such a picturesque country and it would be great to see how the cars handle in the colder climate, imagine the engine cooling though. The country has a population of around 313,000.

People have been settling in Iceland since 874 AD, when they mostly stayed during the winter months to enjoy the landscape and climate. Iceland is the world's eighteenth-largest island, and Europe's second largest island following Great Britain. It is located in the North Atlantic Ocean just south of the Arctic Circle.

London Street

# 3

A few years ago the people of London crowded the streets to see a bunch of F1 cars racing around as an event, wouldn't it be great if this could become reality. The logistics would be a nightmare but it would make for great viewing whether it be on TV or in person.

The streets of the London are definitely wide enough to incorporate a major race but the city would have to be shut down for a weekend. The back drop would be immense with all the rich architecture and the straight could maybe situated along Oxford Street.

Thailand

# 4

Thailand is a place that many tourists like to go to, but after the tsunami catastrophe maybe an F1 race in the country could be just what the country needs, for tourism and for a new sport to enjoy. Some of the Islands around Phuket could be a great venue or maybe nearer the capitol of Bangkok.

The country is deep in religion and has many different forms but has a strong belief in Buddhism, this along with its many landscapes and temples makes it a very rich country for culture and would make a great mark in the F1 calendar to visit.

Dubai

# 5

Dubai would be an ideal place for a grand prix event, its just growing and growing in stature as a city and could host a very good desert race with a brand new multi-million dollar track.

Very little is known about pre-Islamic culture in the south-east Arabian peninsula, except that many ancient towns in the area were trading centres between the Eastern and Western worlds. Now Dubai offers exceptional business services and many Westerners are now emigrating to Dubai to delve into its rich culture.

Moscow

# 6

A Moscow race on the F1 calendar would be amazing just for the weather and also the backdrop of different architecture. It would also increase the F1 fan base around the world. Lewis Hamilton is already making the people in Russia perk their ears up and take note.

A street race in Moscow could be a great sight to see although it is such a vast country that it could take place anywhere=, even Siberia could be a great venue and back drop.

Cuba

# 7

Cuba is a country very rich in culture and it would also be great to see F1 travel the world a bit more, especially a communist country. Cuba is south of the eastern United States and the Bahamas, west of the Turks and Caicos Islands and Haiti and east of Mexico. The Cayman Islands and Jamaica are to the south.

Fidel Castro is still the President of Cuba after throwing Batista out in the revolution in 1959 and later leading the country to a socialist state. Another famous name is Che Guevara who also helped out in the revolution after traveling through the country to see the torment for himself of the people of Cuba.

Night Street Race

# 8

A night street race would be incredible to watch, it would probably be a nightmare logistically and from the driving point of view, but it would make great F1 to watch live or on TV.

Their are talks about making Singapore a street night race in 2008, so lets just push the fact a bitter stronger in case Bernie is listening as this is something we are all waiting to see, it needs to happen.
